Salman Amiri, joined the AI in Dubai Conference 2026

Salman Amiri, Manager at DMCC’s AI Centre, joined the AI in Dubai Conference 2026 as a distinguished participant, offering a clear vision of how the MENA region is shifting toward practical, purpose-built AI innovation.

Drawing on his deep experience in AI, robotics, and ecosystem development, he emphasized that the region’s future depends on developing technologies designed specifically to address real challenges faced by governments, industries, and communities, not on adopting generic, one-size-fits-all solutions.

In his role at DMCC’s AI and Robotics Innovation Hub, Salman oversees strategic operations and drives the development of specialized services, programs, and partnerships that strengthen the UAE’s innovation ecosystem. His work centers on building impactful relationships with government entities and industry leaders while advancing AI adoption initiatives across the organization.

Before joining DMCC in 2024, he served as an Autonomous Robotics Researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute, specializing in guidance, navigation, and control systems.

Salman described how the DMCC AI Centre supports companies in moving from concept to deployment by offering the right regulatory guidance, infrastructure, and collaborative environment. As he put it:
“At DMCC’s AI Centre, our mission is to turn ideas into impact. We help companies convert AI concepts into real solutions by connecting them with the right ecosystem. This conference is the perfect platform to accelerate that purpose.”

Dr. Hikmat Beaini, President of the AI in Dubai Conference, praised this contribution, noting:
“Salman Amiri represents the spirit of purposeful innovation that Dubai stands for. His expertise and his role at DMCC add tremendous value to our mission of shaping AI as a practical, relevant, and future-driven force for our region.”
