The AI in Dubai Conference will officially open on January 12, 2026 at Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis with a keynote welcome address by Badr Buhannad, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis.

His role as lead opening speaker reflects the strategic position of Dubai Silicon Oasis as one of Dubai’s flagship knowledge and innovation districts.

With more than 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, digital transformation, and operational excellence, Buhannad leads the strategic transformation of Dubai Silicon Oasis with a strong focus on execution and measurable impact.

Before his current role, Buhannad served as Deputy Director General of DSO and Chief Corporate Support Officer at Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), where he led enterprise-wide digital initiatives, supply chain optimization, and the Authority’s transformation roadmap, contributing to stronger cross-sector alignment across Dubai’s economic zones.

At Dubai Silicon Oasis, he has spearheaded landmark initiatives, including the launch of the 2021 Strategic Pillars focused on Smart City development, Technology Hub growth, societal wellbeing, and a high-performance organizational culture.
