Maya Abou Zahr is a PhD graduate from the faculty of Political Science and Public Administration in Lebanese University in 2018.
She also has three bachelor degrees; Public Administration from the AUB, and Political Science and Law from the Lebanese University. She has the experience of over 15 years as manager in the Lebanese Public sector.
She was from January 2022 to May 2024 a visiting faculty in UAEU in Political science and Public Administration in UAE.
Maya was an adjunct faculty in AUD in economics for Spring semester
2024, and currently is an assistant professor of Business Administration since Fall 2024. Maya as taught more than 10 courses. She is also a researcher, an author, a book reviewer, an editor, a peer reviewer, and a moderator. Maya has a book under her name.
She has written many articles about sustainability, medical tourism, Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Youth Empowerment, Feminism, and Arab Gulf topics in Brill (Scopus), Sociological Association, Contemporary Arab Affairs القرار Al Qarar, الرؤية al Alroeya, Journal of Bioscience & Biomedical Engineering, and Gulf research Centre, and العربي المستقبل Arab Future.
Maya is a member of Dubai Quality Group, cultural and entrepreneur
groups, and several book clubs where she established one. She has participated in more than 70 seminars and conferences, and moderated several panels. She
loves writing, reading, and music.
