My name is Roudha Bin Desmal, a passionate professional originating from Dubai, UAE, with a profound background in international studies. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from the American University in Dubai and furthered my academic pursuits with a Master’s Degree in Conflict, Development, and Security from Leeds University in the UK.

My professional journey commenced at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, where I held the role of a Future Foresight Analyst from 2017 to 2022. During this time, I played a pivotal role in crafting future foresight studies not only for GDRFA but also for influential entities like Dubai Culture and the General Authority for Identity and Citizenship in Abu Dhabi.

In 2022, I transitioned to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the UAE, taking on the role of Senior Officer in Corporate Excellence. My commitment to shaping the future is evident in my achievements, where I’ve been instrumental in elevating corporate standards within my current role.

Beyond my professional accomplishments, I am also an accomplished public speaker. I’ve conducted various awareness sessions and workshops for employees, represented GDRFA Dubai in the DGEP Excellence Awards, and even had the opportunity to share my insights in a TV interview on Sabah el Khair Ya Arab. Additionally, I’ve showcased my versatility by serving as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) at events such as the GCAA Annual Staff Gathering in 2022 and the Promising Future Panel Discussion in 2023.
